No matter how beautiful your guitar is, if you don't pick it up and play it, it's wall art, not a guitar. So while we make some beautiful guitars (and we're okay if you really want it as wall art), what matters at least as much to us is how it feels and plays and sounds. It should be your favorite guitar with your eyes closed and your ears wide open. So from top to bottom and from inside to out, every guitar gets the best setup, fretwork and wiring we are capable of because that's what will help you be the best player you can be.
You are producing better quality guitars than the major brands that are charging much more for basic guitars with similar components... -- John C. (owner of four kerf guitars)
Enough chatting? Here are the guitars! Be sure to checkout On the Bench to get a sneak peek at what is in the pipeline (so you can claim it before it's officially for sale -- it happens). Inventory tends to go quickly -- here's a gallery of guitars you missed (that may inspire what we can build for you).

Are you jonesing for your own tone? I'm looking for a couple serious players to experiment with my "Find Your Wind" program. I make the pickups that go into my guitars and I'm curious if there are players who want to experiment with some different windings/magnets and so on, to develop a personal pickup style and sound. Drop me a note in the response form below if this sounds interesting to you.
Easiest way for us to know what you want or how we can help is to send us a message with the form below or an email to millard (at) kerfguitars (dot) com.
