I'm so happy, proud, actually, with how well this came out. You may notice something, and ask "but what about..." and that's part of the story.
A big challenge of being different, whatever kind, is other people's expectations. People don't always know how to sort you into their world view and that can make them feel uncomfortable. I believe it was Ram Das who said that when we see a tree that is twisted and different from others around it, we're curious how it came to be that way, yet we're quick to judge a fellow human who seems different. He suggests we treat humans more like trees in this case and be genuinely curious about their history that made them how they are, and accepting of it.
So as I worked on this guitar, what happened, happened. I let the occasional scratch or over-sanding or cosmetic misalignment slide. It's part of it's journey. As you play it, you'll add to its history as well. There was zero compromise regarding playability and sound.
